In about a month or so, something might get started her as far as job posting. Those interested in posting jobs they saw will be able tot it here (if there is a condition on the original post, like Criagslist, where it can not be reproduced or even just linked to, do not post it here).

Firstly, some things have to be straightened out though. JoeUser is for blogging; true. But it might not be allowed to have site referrals of this nature on here.

Because of this, it has to be discussed and proposed to the site owners on usage. The main goal of this is to have employer create blogs about their workplace and post job offerings on this site. This way not only are they promotion their company, but they are in contact with the community as well.

The Downside
There just might not be many companies interested in making community blogs about their company, either due to time constraints, development constraints or even possible legal questions (I don't really see any legal questions, but who knows). Also being in a community blogging service, there is a chance of bad mouthing... typing of the company. Since this is a blogging service, typically are allowed to speak their minds. So if they are not happy with Johnson and Johnson, they will tend to write about it.

The Upside
If companies don’t want to have a blog, they can still post job positions here. Plus, with or without companies posting, other people can post jobs that they think someone might be interested in; A sort of a community help service. Someone can post the job and others can comment on it (pro or con). This can be helpful for employers and employees because if there is a problem with a position they will hear about it (and oppositely if the position is great, it will get more promotion as well as the company posting it).

For the JoeUser poster: This could be a way to not only help others and talk about job posts, but maybe you can earn money too. Create an affiliate with HotJobs (or CareerBuilder and its network of job/lifestyle related websites like Apartments.com, Real Estate and Shop). This feature though, depends on the site owners and the affiliate agreements.

If all else fails and it can not be done here, then I guess I would have to either develop a ASP.NET blogging system on my host provider or get a Linux host and install a blogging tool for people to use. You might say 'why not just do that anyway?' but I truly feel that having a community as a backdrop to the whole service is what is going to make it work better for everyone... I am proposing a similar thing for Modblog (to be run by Modblog) where the community helps itself to get people the opportunity to be hired on salary or on contract there are plenty of people here and on Modblog who are in the tech field and know scripting, design for websites, database back end and so on This will be perfect for contract posters and the people willing to work on a contract as a main source of income or a side source of income)

Plus, Blog Navigator is a great tool for blogging, reading RSS feeds, storing blog articles and web pages as well as the fact that it just naturally connects to JoeUser (of course...) so this make JoeUser the choice again. JoeUser's search tool is excellent, and combined with IE's Google's toolbar (or Yahoo) in page search or Firefox/Netscape web page search, you can not only find the topic, you can fin the exact words your looking for. All of this to not only create a knowledge archive of selected links and your own created works and thoughts, but also talk on business and the workplace.

PLUS, I plan on using DesktopX to access data on the main website as well as the JoeUser blogs... So far everything Stardock here. The only think not Stardock is Save This.com. Although I am not sure I can afford SaveThis.com prices for it services... 300 dollars a month is about how much I earn right now... a month, so that won't work. LOL

Hopefully more news on this subject will be forthcoming within this month.
