Nearly half of all fatal work injuries occurred among workers who drive or move material around for a living. Truck drivers, forklift operators, trash collectors, and cabbies are all part of this group. Sad but true. Currently I am working at a place where I move material around... allot of it. I can attest to the fact that injuries happen just doing your job. One person I know missed about 2 months work because of a hurt back. No boxes fell on her or anything, just the fact that y...

It would seem that the court will have more power over whether you can get it or not. It will be harder to get, you BETTER not make a mistake on the filing, and you miht not be able to get a chapter 7 and just get a chapter 13. Costs for filing are going to go up and you will HAVE TO have a lawyer look over your work. Once again, the people who abuse the system ge punished and take a whole bunch of others with them. If your in the debt hell area, how are you affording a 1500 dollar ...

Well, I spoke to the owners of JoeUser and it looks like something can be worked out. This will be a very interesting concept if I can get it out the door. Its taking me way longer than I ever thought it would take to create this website and the business model behind it. So far, I have yet to see a website do anything like what i am trying to do. I think that is sad considering all the technology that is out right now. With more development money and a few more hands, you could get this...

Something I bumped into while browsing on the web: Some Hot Jobs Accounting (yuk) Electrical Engineering (interesting) Mechanical Engineering (also interesting) Computer Science (really? I thought that was out with 2001 bubble burst?) Marketing (I like marketing and wanted it to be a sub-topic for my Thesis in graduate school... whenever I go back) Information Systems (I was studying Information Systems, but life happens. Hopefully I will return) They also go over the truths and myt...

Of course it is always beter to pay off your student (or any) loan as fast as you can without living like a hermit. Paying your loans in a quickened schedule will save more over time. Plus more of that dollar is going to pay off the actual loan you took out. Considering many who are fresh out of college (and manage to get a 30,000 job) will also have credit card debt as well, considering paying off those things while you can still work 50 hour weeks and before you have o pay for things like ...

HotJobs Blog Navigator (click for more info) and Blog Navigator Pro In about a month or so, something might get started her as far as job posting. Those interested in posting jobs they saw will be able tot it here (if there is a condition on the original post, like Criagslist, where it can not be reproduced or even just linked to, do not post it here). Firstly, some things have to be straightened out though. JoeUser is for blogging; true. But it might not be allow...

I think this comes out every so often... so here it is again again: Looking for a new career? Well, you might want to consider how likely it is that you will be injured on the job before making that choice. A total of 1.4 million injuries and illnesses that required recuperation away from work occurred in private industry in 2002 (the most recent data available), according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics at the U.S. Department of Labor. The two occupations with the greatest number o...
